“I’m the best there is, ya got that?”
The documentary/concert DVD Fade To Black about the making of what was supposed to be Jay-Z’s “retirement” album is well worth checking out – especially for the footage of Jay in the studio with some of the best producers in the game. Our personal favorite is this scene of Timbaland offering up some beats for Jay to choose from – the winning one of course being "Dirt Off My Shoulder."
